The Baltimore Orioles were expected to be one of the best teams in baseball one day, but what they did in 2023 came out of nowhere. Many believed that it was going to take another few years for them to do half of what they accomplished last season.

Winning 101 games is impressive for any team. and given the Orioles were way ahead of schedule, it's scary to to think what they can do in the next few years.

Adley Rutschman and Gunnar Henderson were the stars of the show. Grayson Rodriguez showed signs of being a top-of-the-line starting pitcher. Corbin Burnes was added to the mix, and Jackson Holliday could be making his debut on Opening Day.

However, good teams are much more than just their star power.

Baltimore needed production out of others last season and will need it again this year.

Of those players was Ryan O'Hearn, a left-handed hitter who made his mark in 2023, slashing .289/.322/.480.

The 30-year-old enters his seventh big league season after the best of his career last year. Another .800-plus OPS season would be huge for an Orioles team that should have one of the best lineups in baseball.

His recent comments show that there's much more to this Baltimore team than in years past.

For a team to be great, they need to be all in.

O'Hearn shows that he's grateful to be here and that this is a special team, saying the following, according to Jake Rill of MLB.com:

“It's just a blast, man. I can't explain it. I feel very blessed to have landed here, and especially at this time, when the team is so good.”

This is just the start of what could be a dynasty at Camden Yards.
