Before the San Diego Padres take on AL east opponent Boston Red Sox in the second of three, the team made a big move.

Padres radio host Sammy Levitt reported that the Friars will bring back outfielder José Azocar from the 10-day IL and have DFA'd outfielder Adam Engel.

Engel only participated in five games with the Friars, putting up zeros all across the board in six ABs. The 31-year-old spent his first six seasons with the Chicago White Sox, where he batted .225 and tallied 30 homers and 123 RBIs in the Southside of Chicago. He will now be a free agent, and any team can choose to pick him up.

Azocar, 27, will be making his way back to the club after being put in the 10-day IL due to an elbow injury. The outfielder only played in one rehab game and will bat in the eight-hole and play centerfield for the Friars in tonight's matchup. The 27-year-old last played on May 2 against the Reds and has batted .244 in 41 ABs this season.

We're happy to have Azocar back in the lineup, and we wish Engel the best in his next journey. Let's get this win tonight, San Diego!
