The San Diego Padres have unfortunately not been able to snag a game from the San Fransisco Giants yet this week despite coming close in both of their outings. They are definitely showing that they can compete and hold their own against the league's best but we all know that actually being able to win these scrappy games is what determines who is a true contender.

However, even though the Giants have been able to put a lid on top of the Friars' recent success, Juan Soto has certainly been doing his part. He has four hits in his eight at-bats to go with two homers and three RBI's. The 24-year-old superstar got things rolling once again for San Diego on Tuesday as his double brought in Fernando Tatis Jr. for their first run of the game.

Let's also not forget that Soto was just bombing into the opposite side of the field on Monday as well.

Soto hasn't necessarily been as hot in the month of June as he was in May when he batted .333 with five homers over 26 games but he still has been able to post a BA of .250 to go along with a .902 OPS.

This is exactly what fans were begging for from Soto ever since he touched down in San Diego and struggled off of the jump. He is using the entire field during his at-bats and even if it's not a homer every time, he's getting on base and bringing his teammates in.

Soto recently touched on the mental lessons he learned during his own early slumps and how he's been stress-free at the plate as of late.

"When you're doing well, you don't even think about it. You just go out there and swing the bat," said Soto. "But whenever you're doing bad, it gets you in your mind. Even when you don't think about, it's right there."

Let's hope he continues to swing at a nice rate and help the Friars get back to winning!
