The San Diego Padres have already seen enough struggles hit their squad already and another comes in the form of an injury to their bullpen.

Nabil Crismatt has been ruled out with a left hip strain and has been added to the IL. Ray Kerr will take his place as a reliever after some time this season with the El Paso Chihuahua's.

This news was first reported by AJ Cassavell.

"After his slow start to the season, Nabil Crismatt has landed on the IL with a left hip strain. Ray Kerr is back in the Padres bullpen."

Crismatt has not had the most ideal start to his 2023 campaign as he has taken the mound in six games and has given up 17 hits, 12 runs, and is posting an ERA of 10.8. He is clearly hurting the Friars right now but they also probably do not want to lose him to another franchise.

Kerr on the other hand is posting a 2.84 ERA in six games in the minor league and the Friars hope he'll be able to hold down the fort.
