San Diego Padres superstar Juan Soto finds himself celebrating a significant milestone this Tuesday, as he will play his 100th game as a member of the Friars, including the postseason.

Acquired in a blockbuster deal from the Washington Nationals last summer, Soto endured a slow start in his new team's colors but has since found his rhythm and has been making waves. Soto's arrival in San Diego was met with great anticipation. Having achieved so much with the Washington Nationals, including helping them secure their first title, he carried immense expectations.

Despite the initial challenges of adapting to a new team, Soto has demonstrated his resilience and determination. With each game, he seems to be rediscovering the form that made him such a force to be reckoned with in Washington.

His overall numbers as a Friar aren't as impressive as he is slashing .242/.393/.429, all of which are down from his time as a member of a National; however, he is slowly but surely finding his way back.

Even with all these hurdles he's had to endure, Soto is still on the path to a Hall of Fame career. If Soto continues on this trajectory, there's no doubt that he has the potential to etch his name among the all-time greats in baseball history. That is an insane thing to think about, as Soto is only 24 years old and has yet to hit his prime.

We hope Soto can remain a Padre for the rest of his career as he is set to be a free agent come the 2025 offseason. He, along with Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr., and Xander Bogaerts, can do some damage and could bring home the franchise's first title.

As Soto reaches this milestone in his Padres career, it serves as a reminder of the impact he has made in such a short time. The San Diego faithful eagerly await each at-bat, hoping to witness more of the magic that has endeared Soto to fans across the league.

Juan Soto's journey is far from over, and his potential seems limitless.
