The San Diego Padres enjoyed a very comfortable win to kick off their weekend against the Colorado Rockies. They certainly do love playing in areas where the elevation is higher as five different guys were able to connect on homers and the likes of Xander Bogaerts, Manny Machado, and Gary Sanchez all looked great.

San Diego was able to record 15 hits and win RBI's en route to a 9-6 victory over the Rockies. Whenever they gave up at least five runs to the opposing team this season, they've usually dropped that match but their offense once again showed they are capable of where everything and everybody is clicking.

Trent Grisham said it best when answering the question of what this win means for the Friars's current momentum.

“Everybody in here’s been waiting,” Grisham said. “Not ‘if’ but ‘when’ -- when it’s going to come around. It’s nice to stack two days like that on top of each other. Let’s make it three tomorrow.”

Grisham slammed his own 391 ft homer in the second inning.

Darvish Stamps His Name In The History Books

However, we have to shine all of the lights on none other than Yu Darvish as well. The 36-year-old RHP recorded his 100th win of his career after taking the mound on Friday and even though his performance wasn't his best with five hits and four earned runs allowed, his teammates did their job to ensure he got the win.

Darvish joined some very exclusive company in Padres history as well by doing this. Per MLB's AJ Cassavell, he became the seventh pitcher to wear a Padres uniform while garnering his 100th win and the first to do so since Shawn Estes during the 2008 season.

When speaking on his latest feat, Darvish was nothing but appreciative of those around him.

Hopefully seeing Darvish make history will continue to motivate this Padres squad!
