The San Diego Padres dropped their third straight game to open Spring Training, this time at the hands of the Milwaukee Brewers. The final score was 11-7 from the Peoria Sports Complex.

San Diego trailed for the majority of the game and couldn't find the big hit to put them in front. The offense finally came alive after two poor performances against the Dodgers, but it wasn't enough.

The Padres key players didn't muster much, except for Xander Bogaerts going 1-2. Third baseman Manny Machado also went 1-2 on the day. But Fernando Tatis Jr. and Jake Crononworth both went hitless in two at-bats.

Outfielder Kai Murphy drove in two runs, scoring two in the seventh inning.

The Padres will be taking on the Chicago Cubs in their next game tomorrow. The opening pitch is scheduled for 12:05 pm PT from Sloan Park.
