Top Performers in Cincinnati Reds 5-4 Win Over Los Angeles Dodgers
The Reds beat the Dodgers 5-4 on Thursday night. Check out our top performers from the victory:
Graham Ashcraft
Ashcraft made his first start of the spring. He didn't allow a hit in two innings, finishing with two strikeouts.
Alexis Diaz
Arguably the best performer for the Reds in this game despite playing a short period. The talented pitcher threw a complete inning and struck out all 3 of the batters. This was a great spring camp debut for the expected in-season pitching threat.
Christian Encarnacion-Strand
Man oh man was this guy electric! He hit an absolute bomb that resulted in a stand-up triple. This was a game-changing moment. He had 1 hit, 1 RBI, and 1 run, in 2 at-bats.
Elly De La Cruz
One of the more intriguing players to watch on the field both in-season and spring training so it’s important to note how his games go as we all watch the development of the second-year player. De La Cruz had a hit in 2 at-bats and a run.
Mike Ford
Ford went 1-3 however he had an RBI and a run so it was an overall successful outing for Ford.
Edwin Arroyo
Arroyo has debatably been the best player for the Reds in spring and is definitely at the top amongst all prospects he is joined by a talented list such as Rhett Lowder, Chase Petty, Rece Hinds, and more. Arroyo had a hit and 2 RBIs in his solo at-bat which was a double. Arroyo has been nothing short of elite this spring thus far.
