Cincinnati Reds Claim Right-Handed Pitcher From Toronto Blue Jays
Cincinnati has made multiple roster moves on Thursday.
The Reds today claimed off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays RHP Yosver Zulueta and optioned him to Triple-A Louisville on Thursday afternoon.
They placed infielder Matt McLain on the 60-day injured list. McLain underwent shoulder surgery earlier this week. The Reds are hoping that he can return to action this season.
Zulueta hasn't pitched in the Major Leagues. He's only 26-years-old and gives the Reds another right-handed reliever that they could potentially develop for the future.
