The Reds can’t catch a break with injuries. Top prospect and standout shortstop Edwin Arroyo had a season ending labrum surgery on Wednesday.

The Reds have high hopes for his future in the big leagues, but things could be a bit delayed following the unfortunate news.  this might delay his debut for at least another year or two.

Arroyo is the Reds' No. 3 prospect and No. 67 overall prospect according to MLB Pipeline.
