After being listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Indiana Pacers, the Philadelphia 76ers have cleared Joel Embiid for action.

Lately, the Sixers have been on quite a roll. To no surprise, the MVP Joel Embiid has been a significant contributor to their success.

Coming off a successful week, where the Sixers went 4-0, Embiid was crowned the Eastern Conference Player of the Week on Monday for the 12th time in his career.

So far this season, Embiid has appeared in all nine games for the Sixers. Averaging 34 minutes on the floor, the big man has produced 32 points per game while knocking down 51 percent of his field goals and shooting 36 percent from beyond the arc.

To no surprise, Embiid’s averaging a double-double, coming down with 12 rebounds per game. His defense has been outstanding, as he’s garnering one steal per game and swatting two shots per outing. Along with the areas he’s known to thrive, Embiid has also improved his passing, dishing out six assists per game.

After wrapping up a Sunday evening matchup at home against the Pacers, Embiid practiced with the team on Monday. However, later that night, he was added to the injury report due to hip soreness. Considering Embiid was questionable for the matchup, it indicated he was not dealing with anything significant and could miss Tuesday’s start of a back-to-back for precautionary reasons.

Fortunately, the Sixers won’t have to worry much about Embiid, as he’s set to play in his tenth-straight game.
