Miami Heat Stars Downgraded vs. Sixers

Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro will miss out on Monday night's game.

On Monday night, the Philadelphia 76ers are set to take on the Miami Heat, as they look to build on their win against the Charlotte Hornets over the weekend.

Their win on Saturday came mainly in part due to a 30-point outing from All-Star Tyrese Maxey, who managed to do so on 40 percent accuracy from the field.

Maxey's work on the offensive end wasn't just limited to putting up points as he would show off his eye for play-making a few times, dishing out four assists en route to a Sixers' victory.

Buddy Hield would also prove to be quite the scoring option for Nick Nurse, as he would score 14 points on 50 percent shooting, which includes two makes from beyond the arch.

They'll look to pull off a win against the Heat on Monday night, who come into the match amid a downswing for the Eastern Conference side, as they have split their games in the last ten games.

If they wish to get out of this downturn, they'll have to succeed against the Sixers, having to do so without Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro.

Butler has been downgraded for Monday night's affair as he continues to struggle with a contusion in his right foot, which caused him to miss out on the Heats' matchup against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday night.

The former Sixer has yet to suit up against his former team this season, having missed their two previous meetings for separate reasons.

Monday night will make it three times, as he's out again. The same can be said for Herro, who will remain out of the game due to medial tendinitis in his right foot.

Herro has missed the Heats' previous 11 matches due to the issue with his right foot, which has left Erik Spoelstra without one of his leading scorers.

The Sixers are set to take on the Heat on Monday night, with tip-off slated for 7:30 p.m. EST.
