Bulls vs. Cavaliers Prediction for Today, 2/14 on ESPN

As Cleveland fans likely already know, the Cavs had their nine-game win streak snapped on Monday night in a surprising upset against a depleted Philadelphia 76ers squad. However, they’re still arguably the hottest team in the NBA and are back on their home court tonight.

It’s also the final game before the All-Star break, so we expect them to come out strong to cap off the first half of the season with yet another win. They’re a serious title contender, especially now that they’re healthy, so we’re not surprised to see them so significantly favored against a very mediocre Bulls team.

We wouldn’t often look to back such a heavy point spread, but this looks to be a great bounce-back spot for them. After all, losses have been few and far between for them, so Monday could have been a nice wake-up call for an otherwise easy last two months. Even in Chicago’s recent win, they still allowed 126 points to the Atlanta Hawks.

This also marks the fourth straight road game for the Bulls, and of course, they are without Lonzo Ball and Patrick Williams. With Cleveland as healthy as ever, our best Bulls vs. Cavaliers prediction is Cleveland -9.5 (-108 at FanDuel Sportsbook).

Bulls vs. Cavaliers Player Props & Free Picks Featuring Jarrett Allen & Alex Caruso

It’s also worth noting that the two previous meetings between these teams were low-scoring and made the Cavs 4-1 against the spread in their last five games against Chicago. That also plays into our Bulls vs. Cavaliers player props, as we’re focused on Cleveland’s defense against holding Chicago to fewer than 100 points and controlling the glass.

So, first up is the Cavs' Jarrett Allen. He absolutely dominated the boards when these teams met last month and just before Christmas. In those two games, Allen pulled down 14 and 17 rebounds in those two games, making it double-digit rebounds in four of his last five games against Chicago.

He’s also had double-digit rebounds in three straight games, so we’re going with Jarrett Allen over 11.5 rebounds (+100 at FanDuel Sportsbook). As for our other Bulls vs. Cavaliers player props pick, we’re targeting Chicago’s Alex Caruso.

With us expecting Cleveland to come out fired up following their recent loss, we also expect them to shut down Caruso. DeMar DeRozan is Chicago’s primary scorer anyway, and let’s not forget that the Bulls scored just 91 and 95 points in the last two games between these teams. In both of those, Caruso did not have strong nights.

He had just 10 points in both games despite playing over 30 minutes, and even DeRozan was held to just six points in one of those games. Better yet, Caruso has had single-digit points in all four of his games this month and may not be 100% healthy just yet. With that lack of production despite significant minutes, we’re also going with Alex Caruso under 7.5 points (+108 at FanDuel Sportsbook).
