The Boston Celtics enter the playoffs having earned home-court advantage throughout their postseason run.

Their dominance over the 82 games leading up to this included an NBA-best. 64-18 record, with their .780 winning percentage representing the fifth-highest in franchise history.

They went 37-4 at TD Garden and 27-14 away from it, building the second-best road resume this season. Boston also registered the highest plus-minus rating (11.3) and net rating (11.7). The C's scored the most points per 100 possessions (122.2) and ranked second in defensive rating (110.6).

But the playoffs are a different beast. As the Celtics prepare for a run that they hope ends with raising Banner 18 to the TD Garden rafters, they don't know their first-round opponent yet, but now they're aware of their opening series schedule.

Their postseason journey to reach the NBA's summit starts on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 EST at TD Garden.
