On Tuesday, the Boston Celtics suffered a 104-91 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. The hosts scored a game-high 37 points in the first quarter, while Boston totaled a game-low 21 points.

By intermission, Brook Lopez was leading Milwaukee’s offense with 15 points. As captured by NBC Sports Boston, Joe Mazzulla reacted to Lopez’s first-half scoring contributions.

“I thought we could have closed out to him a little more, but I thought, for the most part, it was shot-making by him," stated Boston's bench boss.

Mazzulla also explained what caused the Celtics’ slow start on offense.

“For the most part, I thought we just had too many empty possessions on the offensive end… Waiting too long to get into our spacing. Too many shots at the end of the shot-clock. We just gotta get to it quicker.”

Boston's next game is scheduled for Thursday, Apr. 11, against the New York Knicks at TD Garden; tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. EST.
