During a recent episode of the Full Send Podcast, Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves spoke about his former teammate Russell Westbrook. When asked about Westbrook, who recently re-signed with the LA Clippers, Reaves said, "The one thing I will say about Russ is that he was probably one of my favorite teammates I've ever had. Always in a good mood to me."

Reaves also shared the story about when he got sick in Minnesota, and Westbrook checked on him several times to make sure he was okay. This is similar to what Reaves said during Showtime Basketball's All The Smoke podcast, when the Lakers guard said the following about Westbrook:

"He's one of the best teammates I've ever had. As a person, you can't get much better," Reaves said. "I got Covid in December of my rookie year, in Minnesota. I was stuck in Minnesota for like seven days, so it was rough. [Westbrook] reached out like three or four times, asked if I need anything, offered to send me stuff, whatever I needed. As a person, you couldn't get better. Same as a teammate, he was always empowering everybody to be better, and do better, and want more."

While some people try to paint Westbrook in a negative light, his former teammates have nothing but good things to say about him.
