The LA Clippers have won five-straight games, including 10 of their last 13. Their winning streak is the longest active one in the NBA, and it has included wins over some solid teams.

Following LA's win over the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night, Clippers star Kawhi Leonard spoke on some of the changes and some of the improvement the Clippers have experienced throughout this run.

"Pretty much knowing we have another guy on the court that can make plays for us," Leonard said about the adjustment during this period. "Be yourself, but know it's not going to be the same thing as before. That’s it, all of us coming into the defensive end and wanting to get things going on that end first. Let the offense take care of itself since we have so many scorers and other guys off the bench like [Norman Powell] and Terance [Mann]... Knowing every night isn’t the same. One night might be your night, and the next night it might be somebody else’s."

Leonard also pinpointed one specific area of improvement, which has been holding leads.

"A lot of games we are probably up in the first quarter by 7-10 points, and we were losing those games early," Leonard said. "Tonight we were able to sustain that lead, so it’s about having carryover. They have great players on whoever team we are playing, and they can get it going really easy. 20 point leads in this day and age are probably like a 10 or 12 point lead back in the day."

The Clippers are not where they want to be yet, but they are getting much closer.
