LA Clippers vs New Orleans Pelicans Injury Report Revealed

Both the Clippers and Pelicans will be missing some big players.

Another day, another must-win game for the LA Clippers. It feels like an all too repeated phrase, but the Clippers need to defeat the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday night; both teams will be shorthanded for this one, too.

The Clippers will continue to miss Paul George with a right knee sprain, and Norman Powell with left shoulder subluxation. Additionally, Brandon Boston Jr. is out with a tailbone contusion. The rest of the injury report consists of players missing time because of the G League: Xavier Moon, and Moussa Diabate.

The New Orleans Pelicans will continue to miss their big gun Zion Williamson due to a right hamstring strain. Additionally, they'll be missing Jose Alvarado due to a right tibial stress reaction, E.J. Liddell due to a right knee ACL injury recovery, and Dereon Seabron due to a G League two-way. The only questionable player is Trey Murphy III due to a left great toe irritation.

Even though the Pelicans spent a huge portion of this season struggling without Zion Williamson, that's not the case anymore - they have now won three games straight. Simply put, this is a game the LA Clippers can not afford to lose. The Clippers only have a two-game lead on the 7th seed, and their schedule will get very difficult to close the season. Next week, the Clippers face off against the Grizzlies, and then have a back-to-back against the Grizzlies and Pelicans. This is a must-win game.
