Paul George Gets Honest on Draymond Green Suspension

Paul George couldn't believe Draymond Green's actions.

Draymond Green shocked the NBA world when he swung at Jusuf Nurkic and found himself indefinitely suspended. It wasn't just the fans that were shocked either, players were as well - including Paul George.

On the newest episode of Podcast P, George addressed Draymond Green's fight with Nurkic and his most recent suspension.

"...honestly I’m like speechless, I don’t even know what to say about it," Geroge said "It’s just crazy"

If there's one thing George doesn't like about the situation, it's the way that Draymond is being portrayed as a crazy person. That he's being portrayed as a man who needs counseling.

“I don’t like that they’re painting him like he’s crazy now, though," George said. "I don’t like that part. Let’s stop the narrative that he’s crazy or something’s wrong with  him…like come on we gotta chill with that.”

Make no mistake, even though Paul George has sympathy for Draymond, he still disagrees with Draymond's actions. There wasn't enough to retaliate in the way that Draymond did.

"He was grabbing him, but it wasn't enough to retaliate," George said. "If anything, I would have just punched his arm or elbowed his arm."

At the end of the day, Draymond Green has been given chance after chance to redeem himself. Instead, he continues to bend the rules without giving any accountability for his actions. Hopefully, this suspension actually makes him learn for once.
