Paul George Reveals Details of Sudden Hip Injury

Paul George missed nearly two games with the injury.

Last week, Paul George experienced a sudden groin injury in a game against the Sacramento Kings that prevented him from playing in the second half. It evolved into a hip injury that kept him out of the next game against the Golden State Warriors.

George's injury was one that fans were confused by, especially the nature of how it evolved and how quick it was. On the most recent episode of Podcast P, he revealed the nature of his injury.

“Yeah, it was something minor," George said. "For the folks out there, no, PG is not hurt, it was just…I mean I played 41 minutes the night before…it was just a small little thing. Talking to doctors and trainers I think it was just my hips weren’t aligned and it was causing a little irritation on my pelvic bone– I don’t wanna say the wrong shit. It was something to do with my alignment being off and it was pulling at my groin and causing irritation there.”

The most important thing for Paul George and the Clippers is that he's healthy now. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and James Harden have played in every single game together, except for one. Ever since modifying the starting lineup, the LA Clippers have been arguably the best team in the Western Conference, and that doesn't happen without Paul George.
