LA Clippers head coach Ty Lue announced earlier this week that his starting lineup would be Russell Westbrook, Terance Mann, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and Ivica Zubac. Westbrook, George, Leonard, and Zubac were locks to start, but Mann was given the 5th spot over other options like Robert Covington and Nicolas Batum.

The duo of Westbrook and Mann is one that projects to compliment each other quite a bit, and when asked about that before Monday's practice, Westbrook said, "I've always been a big fan of Terance and just his ability to do a lot of different things on the floor. So I challenge him with that daily. Just being better, being aggressive. In the lineup, my job is to just make it easy for him to make sure that he doesn't have to work too hard. There's a lot of different ways where you can impact winning and impact the game that don't show up in that stat sheet, which I pride myself on, and I know he's more than capable of doing that."

Excited for the new starting lineup, Westbrook feels Mann can do a lot of different things to help the Clippers win games this season. With a skillset that works well alongside Westbrook and the others, Mann should be big for what the Clippers hope to do in this crucial year.
