Kawhi Leonard's Honest Statement After Clippers Comeback vs Bulls

The Clippers had another double-digit comeback.

For a second game straight, the LA Clippers completed a double-digit comeback. On Wednesday night, the Clippers completed a 20-point comeback against the Rockets, and today, they completed a 14-point comeback against the Bulls.

After the game, Kawhi Leonard was asked about the comeback and slow start, to which Kawhi wasn't concerned at all.

“No," Leonard said. "I mean it’s 48 minutes, you gonna have…teams gonna make runs, you gonna have sluggish moments. It’s the NBA, we play a lot of games.”

Even though the Clippers were down early, they didn't play particularly badly against the Chicago Bulls in the first half. They missed a ton of open looks but did have 10 sloppy turnovers. Regardless, the team picked up the intensity and outscored the Chicago Bulls 66-45 in the second half.

While the Clippers came away with an important win against the Bulls, they have a gruesome 24 hours waiting for them. Within 22 hours of tipoff, the team has to face off against a rested Milwaukee Bucks team that just lost a heartbreaker against the Los Angeles Lakers. It remains to be seen whether Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and James Harden will play in tomorrow's game, as they were all listed as questionable today against the  Bulls.

The LA Clippers face off against the Milwaukee Bucks at 3:00 p.m. EST tomorrow.
