Anonymous NBA Players Slams Memphis Grizzlies

In this story:
Never hesitant to talk trash on the court or in the media, the Memphis Grizzlies often rub people the wrong way. This is often headlined by Dillon Brooks, who recently went viral for his comments about LeBron James. In a recent anonymous NBA player poll by The Athletic, the Grizzlies were slammed for being "frontrunners" and never talking when they're behind the same way they do when they're winning.
"They're frontrunners," the anonymous player said of the Grizzlies. "They're just extra. They talk when they're winning. They don't say s— when they're losing. Their whole thing over there is just annoying."
It's important to note that this poll was conducted and published before Brooks made his postgame comments about LeBron James; however, that postgame media session was far from out of character for Brooks, as he often comes for star players in that way.
The Grizzlies are currently tied 1-1 with the Lakers, and will be heading to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4. Brooks certainly poked the bear with his comments about James, but according to him, that's exactly what he does. Not concerned with James until the Lakers star drops 40 on the Grizzlies, Brooks made it clear that he welcomes the challenge of not only defending LeBron James, but going at him on and off the court.
With postgame media sessions like the one Brooks just had, it's understandable why some opponents do not like the Grizzlies, and that was reflected in a recent poll.
