Ja Morant may not be with the Memphis Grizzlies right now, but the team has nothing but love for him despite the drama.

The Grizzlies will be without Morant for a minimum of two games after he was suspended for going on Instagram live with a gun in his hand. Tonight was their first game without him, where they lost a very close game to the LA Clippers. Desmond Bane was interviewed by the media after the game, where he offered his love for Morant.

"We’re a big family," Bane said. "We’re wrapping our arms around him and showing our love to him." Is he confident Ja will rectify behavior? "For sure. He’s a resilient guy, tough-minded guy. Whenever he’s ready to come back, we’ll welcome him with open arms."

It's clear that no matter how long it takes for Morant to return, his teammates have his back. The only thing is that they need to start learning to win while he's gone.

The Memphis Grizzlies have a 4-6 record without Ja Morant this season and don't have the same dominance as they did last season. Their next opponent is the Los Angeles Lakers on March 7, who are shorthanded themselves. If the Grizzlies want to keep the second seed, they're going to have to figure out a way to win without Ja Morant. Memphis is only one game above the Sacramento Kings, so they absolutely have to beat a shorthanded Lakers team without LeBron James.
