Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant recently announced the launch of Twelve Time AAU, the point guard's new youth basketball program. Twelve Time AAU held tryouts for their 6th and 7th grade girls team, their 6th grade boys team, and their 7th grade boys team on February 10th and 11th, and the players who made those teams have been announced.

On his Twelve Time AAU Instagram account, Morant made the big roster announcement for his first ever AAU teams, and they include 34 different players across the three teams. This is a great honor for all the players chosen to play for Morant's AAU team, and this will certainly be an exciting program to follow.

This has been a very tough year for Morant, of course headlined by his suspensions and season ending injury, but the Grizzlies star has done an incredible job remaining positive. Making a strong impact on his team even from the sidelines, Morant has remained around the Grizzlies quite a bit.

Along with his impact on the Grizzlies while sidelined, Morant has continued making an impact on basketball outside of Memphis as well. This has been done through his Nike shoes and other merchandise, and of course the launch of his Twelve Time AAU program.

This latest announcement from Morant is a big one, and it helps officially kickstart his new program.
