Ja Morant Shares Major Announcement About Return

Ja Morant dropped a huge bomb.

All season, NBA fans have been eagerly awaiting the league's most exciting player - Ja Morant. Now, it looks like fans won't have to wait long.

Ja Morant went on X (formerly known as Twitter) to give a very simple, but very important announcement yesterday.

"return soon ⏳™️
8 days 4 games 🐻"

According to Morant, he will be returning on December 19. The next games left for the Grizzlies are against the: Houston Rockets, Houston Rockets, and Oklahoma City Thunder. This puts the Ja Morant return date against the New Orleans Pelicans on December 19.

It's going to be tough for the Grizzlies to win any of their next three games without Morant, but there's a realistic possibility of going 1-2 or even 2-1. Still, Ja Morant can't return soon enough. Especially, with the absences of Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, Marcus Smart, and the plethora of injuries the Memphis Grizzlies have been dealing with all season.

Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins mentioned that Morant has been practicing and should be all systems go as soon as he returns. Still, there's always going to be some level of an acclimation period when a major star re-joins a team, whether it's Desmond Bane or Jaren Jackson Jr. needing to adjust their games again.

NBA fans are officially 7 days away from Ja Morant returning to a basketball court. The day can't come soon enough.
