NBA YoungBoy's Label Shares Message for Ja Morant
The Memphis Grizzlies are massive fans of rapper NBA YoungBoy. Former Grizzlies guard Danny Green recently said in an interview that the team blasts YoungBoy's music from morning to night.
"Coming here, it made me realize why he's number one," Green said of YoungBoy. "All they do is listen to YoungBoy all day. From morning to night, from shoot-around to the game, it's NBA YoungBoy."
This connection between the Grizzlies and YoungBoy has received a bigger spotlight recently, with Morant reciting lyrics from his song "Fresh Prince Of Utah" by yelling, "It's a parade inside my city, yeah!" after recent wins. Morant even had the Grizzlies broadcast reciting the lyrics, as the movement continues to spread.
While NBA YoungBoy himself is no longer on Instagram, his label Never Broke Again shared a message for Morant that read, "You know it's gonna be a parade for real behind you @jamorant."
