Ex-Heat Guard Jason William And Comedian Bubba Dub Announce New Show ‘No Media’

Former Miami Heat guard Jason ‘White Chocolate’ Williams will be featured in a new show with PlayersTV called ‘No Media’ alongside Comedian Jerry 'Bubba Dub' Morgan

PlayersTV, the athlete-owned media company, has recently unveiled its groundbreaking original series, ‘The No Media Show,’ sponsored by the Ford Motor Company.

Led by NBA champion and former Miami Heat guard Jason ‘White Chocolate’ Williams, this innovative show aims to revolutionize the portrayal of athletes in the media landscape.

Renowned for his pivotal role in the Heat's victory over the Dallas Mavericks in the 2006 NBA Finals, Williams brings a wealth of experience to the forefront. His tenure with the Heat, spanning from 2005 to 2008, marked a significant chapter in his career. Williams, alongside small forward James Posey, was acquired from the Memphis Grizzlies in a multi-team deal that reshaped the NBA landscape.

“In today's media landscape, athletes often find themselves misrepresented. With 'The No Media Show,' we reclaim control of our narratives and share our stories authentically,” Williams said, reflecting on the motivation behind the series.

Joining Williams is Texas-based comedian Jerry 'Bubba Dub' Morgan, known for his dynamic flair and refreshing humor. Morgan’s involvement promises to inject a unique perspective into the show, resonating with audiences seeking authenticity.

“It’s time to break free from traditional media and showcase the real. 'The No Media Show' is our platform to speak the truth and entertain while dismantling misconceptions,” emphasized Morgan, underlining the show’s commitment to transparency.

Morgan’s recent media deals underscore his rising influence in the entertainment industry, aligning perfectly with the ethos of ‘The No Media Show.’ The show represents a departure from conventional sports programming, challenging established norms and fostering genuine connections with viewers.

“No Media on PlayersTV challenges the norm, bringing raw authenticity to sports entertainment,” remarked Deron Guidrey, CO-Founder of PlayersTV, echoing the sentiment driving the series forward.

Collin Castellaw, co-founder of PlayersTV, emphasized the need to hold traditional media accountable while amplifying athletes' voices. “'The No Media Show' embodies a new narrative—one crafted directly by athletes—to cut through the noise and set the record straight,” he stated.

Williams, a former NBA veteran with a storied career spanning 12 years, brings credibility and insight to the series. Averaging 10.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game over 788 career appearances, Williams offers a unique perspective on the challenges athletes face both on and off the court.
