GAME PREVIEW:
The Hornets have dropped 15 out of their last 18 games and injuries continue to worsen. The Bulls are currently fighting for a play-in spot as they sit in the 10th spot, while being tied with Brooklyn for the 9th seed in the Eastern Conference.
The Hornets have desperately missed LaMelo Ball and that showed in the teams 11-game losing streak along with Friday's loss to the Bulls which saw the Hornets score just 91 points. The Hornets also miss Mark Williams, who has missed the past 14 games with a back injurY. Charlotte is 1-13 without its starting center.
One of the few bright spots for the Hornets recently has been Miles Bridges who has averaged 27 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists, while shooting 62.0% from the field and 50.0% from three in his past three games. The Hornets will need Bridges to continue this type of play to even give them a chance on a nightly basis.
The good news for Charlotte is Chicago has had its fair share of road struggles. The Bulls hold just a 4-12 record on the road, while having a 12-9 record at home.
KEY MATCHUP: Terry Rozier vs Coby White
Terry Rozier versus Coby White will not only be an entertaining matchup, but an important one. Both of these players are having career seasons thus far. Coby White is averaging nearly 18 points a game with 4.9 assists, while knocking down 106 three-pointers this season. Terry Rozier is averaging 23.7 points per game on the season with 7.1 assists, which are both career-highs. This matchup could make a difference in which team gets the win tonight.
