Score Predictions for Hornets at Grizzlies

Our staff picks tonight's game between Charlotte and Memphis.

James Plowright: Hornets 114, Grizzlies 108.

The "Injury" bowl as some are calling it, these teams have clearly been the unluckiest this season. The good news for Charlotte is Memphis are on the second night of a back to back having beaten the Wizards 109-97 yesterday. Charlotte should have the fresher legs and hopefully Tre Mann back in the starting lineup. With Jaren Jackson Jr likely out with a right quad injury, I'm picking the Hornets for an upset.

Prediction record: 26-9.

Albert Bottcher: Hornets 115, Grizzlies 105.

This one is pretty much a toss-up, as both teams have given up their postseason dreams and are missing multiple key players. Charlotte still has Miles Bridges and Brandon Miller to boost their offense and some established NBA players to fill up most of the rotation. That should be enough to get a win against a Grizzlies squad that will be on the second night of a back-to-back, left without any really consistent scoring options.

Prediction record: 3-2.

Desmond Johnson: Hornets 110, Grizzlies 104.

Both teams are basically in lottery mode. The initial sparkle of the additions at the trade deadline have worn off and the Hornets simply are void of NBA level talent as they start the rebuild under new ownership. Both teams are super banged up but Hornets have Miller and Bridges for scoring punch.

Prediction record: 8-13.

Atticus Ferguson: Hornets 108, Grizzlies 102.

Cover your eyes, this is gonna be an ugly one. The two most injury plagued teams in the Association square off in Memphis tonight, and I think Charlotte has a decisive advantage. While the Hornets have their fair share of sidelined bodies, the presence of Brandon Miller, Miles Bridges, and Grant Williams should be enough to outlast a even more hobbled Memphis squad who rolls in off of a back-to-back. Give me Charlotte in an otherwise forgettable matchup.

Prediction record: 27-5.
