Score Predictions for Hornets vs. Clippers

Our staff picks tonight's game between Charlotte and Los Angeles.

Schuyler Callihan: Clippers 110, Hornets 98.

The Clippers' offense has slowed down considerably of late which will play right into the Hornets' hands. However, the star power is too much for Charlotte in this one. I can see them playing well enough in three of the quarters but that one frame where they typically go MIA and get outscored 35-17 will be the difference.

Prediction record: 23-10.

Pat Fitzgerald: Clippers 112, Hornets 104.

The veteran playmakers for the Clippers will be too much for the young Hornets team to keep up with. I suspect playing at home, and Brandon Miller playing against his GOAT Paul George may let the Hornets hang around till half, but I don’t see them being able to pull this one off against a much more experienced and deep playoff team.

Prediction record: 5-3.

Ian Black: Clippers 106, Hornets 99.

Exciting that Brandon Miller gets to show off to Paul George tonight, but this Clippers team is simply too talented and efficient for an undermanned Hornets squad.
