Despite falling short in their last three games, the Utah Jazz have the chance to right the ship on Thursday when they take on the Washington Wizards. This matchup marks the second of their extensive six-game road trip and presents a prime opportunity to return to a .500 record.

This will be the first game of the season the Wizards take on without head coach Wes Unseld Jr., as reported earlier in the morning that he was out of the position to transition into a front-office role. Washington will now be led by interim Brian Keefe for the remainder of the year. As a result, it potentially gives Will Hardy and his squad a nice edge heading into the contest.

Each team released their injury reports going into this one, with the Jazz showcasing no surprises on their end:

Utah Jazz:

Johnny Juzang- OUT (two-way)

Micah Potter- OUT (two-way)

Jason Preston- OUT (two-way)

Washington Wizards:

Isaiah Livers- QUESTIONABLE (hip)

Only Utah’s two-way players will be sidelined for this game, with the rest of the roster ready to suit up. As for the Wizards, things remain calm on the injury front as well. Newly traded Isaiah Livers is questionable with a hip injury that could ultimately take him out of action for the first game under his new interim coach.

The Jazz and Wizards will tip off at 5 PM MT on Thursday in Capital One Arena.
