Kings Starting Lineup Revealed for Wednesday's Matchup vs. Pelicans

With Keegan Murray sidelined, the Sacramento Kings are switching up their starting lineup as they take on New Orleans for the second consecutive game.

The Sacramento Kings have caught the injury bug early into their 2023-24 campaign, with the most recent victim being F Keegan Murray, who is sidelined for Wednesday's matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Pelicans gave the Kings an embarrassing 39-point loss on Monday, but the two teams are set to play for the second time within three days, giving the Kings the opportunity for some sweet revenge.

With Murray out, the Kings lineup will look different than usual. Murray is missing his first game of the season and just the third of his career, so Sacramento is not used to him being on the bench.

The Kings' starting lineup of G De'Aaron Fox, G Kevin Huerter, G Chris Duarte, F Harrison Barnes, and C Domantas Sabonis is the first time Sacramento has ever put these players together to start the game, but could be more effective than expected.

With Murray out, Duarte and Huerter will have to step up to create from the perimeter. Duarte will take on Murray's matchup from Monday, as he is expected to guard the talented Pelicans F Brandon Ingram

Ingram is coming off a 31-point performance in their win over Sacramento and will now have a smaller Duarte matched onto him. Expect the Kings to keep it closer than they did on Monday, but they will likely continue to struggle with injury problems.
