After his fiery exchange and post-game critique of the officiating in the Sacramento Kings' game against the Milwaukee Bucks, head coach Mike Brown is swiftly getting hit by the fine hammer. As if the Damian Lillard buzzer-beater wasn’t enough, it looks like even more retribution will head Sacramento’s way.

According to a release from the NBA, Coach Brown will be fined $50,000 for “aggressively pursuing a game official during live play, and for publically criticizing the officiating.”

Brown made headlines after storming the court on Sunday vs. the Bucks after De’Aaron Fox suffered from a controversial no-call, leading to a turnover. He was effectively handed two techs and an ejection, which gave us his viral presser after the game, in which he gave a film breakdown showing what led to his frustration:

“19-to-5 from the free throw line? And, like I said, communicate? They did that. Have some sort of consistency. In my opinion, the consistency wasn’t here tonight... As you can tell, I’m beside myself. Now, we had a chance to win the game, and we didn’t get it done. But, I’m telling you, it’s tough, man. It’s tough to go through that."

Despite getting hit with the steep fine, it seems as if Coach Brown could get some welcomed assistance. According to Frankie Cartoscelli of Sactown 1140 on X, some helping hands may come his way considering the circumstances:

The best news for Kings fans is that no suspension was handed out to their coach. Brown will be right back on the sideline for Sacramento’s next game against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night, ready to stand up for his guys once again.
