Sacramento Kings Reveal New 2023-24 City Edition Jerseys and Court

The jersey along with the matching court pays homage to the team's 100-year history as the NBA's oldest franchise.

The Sacramento Kings are the NBA's oldest franchise, celebrating their centennial season this year. In that time, the Kings have been through five different locations and a few different names before eventually moving to Sacramento in 1985.

The Kings' colors were formerly royal blue until the shift to modern-day purple in the mid-90s. Today, the team confirmed new jerseys paying homage to that royal blue color after a leak of rumored 2023-24 City Edition jerseys circulated during the Kings' media day.

The jerseys closely resemble when the team was fittingly named the Cincinnati Royals. These jerseys were worn in the late 60s and early 70s during Oscar Robertson's final years with the franchise.

The team also will have a new court on City edition nights.

The blue and red court with the red eyes logo matches the jersey in paying homage to the 100-year history since 1923 in Rochester.

You can watch the Sacramento Kings don these jerseys on select nights this upcoming NBA season, which begins for the Kings on the road on October 25 at 6 p.m. PT against the Utah Jazz.
