Brunson's All-Star Effort Leads Knicks' 9th Straight Win, Comeback vs. Toppin, Pacers

Jalen Brunson backed up his All-Star nomination and then some, scoring 40 points in the New York Knicks' latest victory over the Indiana Pacers.

In case anyone was on the fence about his participation in the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, Jalen Brunson perhaps killed off any doubt once and for all with his latest output.

Brunson and the New York Knicks kept on trucking in the best way possible, overcoming early slopiness to take a 109-105 decision from the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks' ninth consecutive victory allowed them to tie the mark for the NBA's longest winning streak this season and tip off February on a high note after going 14-2 last month.

Mere hours after he learned of his official nomination to the exhibition, ironically set to be staged in Indianapolis, Brunson scored 40 points in a comeback effort from as many as 15 down.

Brunson and the Knicks will go for 10 on Saturday when they host the LOs Angeles Lakers (7:30 p.m. ET, ABC).
