As fans of both teams know, these are two teams that have been quite difficult to trust, especially as of late. Not only has LA been inconsistent, but we just had LeBron James miss their most recent game. However, he is now listed as just day-to-day and is expected to be back on the court.
As for Chicago, they’ve won a few games recently, but those games came against the San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors and Memphis Grizzlies - all teams outside of playoff position. In other words, we aren’t comfortable backing either team to perform. Therefore, our focus is a low-scoring game.
First and foremost, the Bulls have struggled to score all year. They’re the fourth-worst in the NBA in that regard, and tonight features a strong paint presence on both sides with LA’s Anthony Davis and Chicago’s Nikola Vucevic. Of course, a LeBron less than 100% healthy also puts a damper on LA’s team total, as does Chicago still being without Zach LaVine.
