Lakers Injury Report: 4 Key Timberwolves Could Be Sidelined Vs LA

KAT's out. But another star player may be on the shelf, too.

Your Los Angeles Lakers could be facing a severely depleted Minnesota Timberwolves roster tomorrow.

We already knew about All-Star power forward Karl-Anthony Towns' surgery to address his torn meniscus in his left knee. He is set to be reassessed in a month.

Luckily for LA, he might be joined by the club's best player, All-Star shooting guard Anthony Edwards, who's questionable due to a sore left ankle, according to the league's latest injury report.

Rookie guard Jaylen Clark is sidelined with a right Achilles tendon. Another rotation guard, Monte Morris, is already on the shelf with a sore left hamstring. Rookie small forward Leonard Miller, meanwhile, is on assignment to Minnesota's G League affiliate, the Iowa Wolves.

Forward Jarred Vanderbilt (right mid-foot sprain), big man Christian Wood (left knee effusion), point guard Gabe Vincent (left knee surgery), and two-way center Colin Castleton (right wrist fracture) all remain out.

All-Stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis are both questionable. James sat out LA's surprise 123-122 victory over the mighty Milwaukee Bucks on Friday with a left ankle peroneal tendinopathy, while Davis hurt his left shoulder yesterday. LA mall forward Cam Reddish is considered probable to suit up with a right ankle sprain.
