Lakers News: 2023-24 Media Day Officially Scheduled

The Media Day date and time have officially been set!

One of the best days of the basketball season is media day for any team. It’s a time when hope fills the air, and all the players are finally in the building together.

For the Los Angeles Lakers, this coming year feels like it will be a memorable one based on the offseason that they put together. LA prioritized continuity within their roster after reaching the Western Conference Finals a year ago, and they want to run things back to make an even further playoff run.

Media day for the Lakers has officially been set for Monday, October 2. It will take place starting from 11 a.m. PT and will go until around 1 p.m. PT.

“Media day is always an interesting opportunity to hear what players have worked on during the offseason and what the coaching staff may be looking to implement. The team will have some interesting decisions to make as far as its regular rotation and perhaps even one or two spots in its starting lineup.”

Per Robert Marvi of Yahoo Sports

Fans should tune in if they can, in order to see different interviews and moments from the Lakers. It’s always a fun time for everyone involved, and it’s the official start of training camp for the team.

The Lakers enter this season with title hopes this year, and they have the look of a title contender. They have strong depth and flexibility that should allow them to match up against any other team. LA knew that they lacked this last season against the Denver Nuggets in the playoffs, so they made sure to address their weaknesses.

It should be a very fun year for the Lakers, and it all starts here soon with Media Day!
