The NBA announced today that it is fining Memphis Grizzlies small forward Dillon Brooks $25K, after the self-designated LeBron James irritant during your Los Angeles Lakers' first round series against his Grizz skipped postgame interviews following three of Memphis' four losses.

Memphis All-Star point guard Ja Morant also shirked his own media obligations after one of the team's defeats, though no mention has been made of any kind of punishment for him.

Los Angeles, the West's seventh seed at 43-39, flattened the Grizzlies, their conference's second seed at 51-31, with a 125-85 blowout in a closeout Game 6 on Friday, and is moving on to face the winner of today's decisive Game 7 matinee matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings.

Brooks, 27, had a career-worst playoff run with the Grizzlies in his series against LA. He averaged just 10.5 points on .312/.238/.714 shooting splits, grabbed 3.0 rebounds, and dished out 1.8 dimes. He is a free agent this summer, and has an uncertain future in Memphis thanks to his poor shooting and relatively ineffective defense against James when it mattered most.
