The Golden State Warriors won against your Los Angeles Lakers in a recent preseason game but over the past weekend, what occurred after the clock hit zero made its fair share of headlines too.

New Warriors point guard Chris Paul celebrated his team's 129-125 victory with class as he sought out Lakers superstar Lebron James' son Bronny for a postgame handshake.

Paul got unceremoniously traded to Washington as part of the deal to make Bradley Beal a Sun alongside Kevin Durant and Devin Booker for their new core.

The veteran didn't spend long as a Wizard as Golden State made a move for the floor general in exchange for Jordan Poole.

Many fans speculated just how Paul would fit the Warriors' already small lineup but he and long-time rival Stephen Curry have already shown chemistry this preseason.

James only played the first half before taking the rest of the evening off in street clothes and an in-game dinner while on the bench.

In his short stint, the King scored 12 points in 18 minutes of action but it was Golden State who pulled away with the late win.

As close friends, it only made sense that Paul would come over to James' family in the postgame celebration to show love to Bronny after a tough summer.

The younger James suffered a cardiac event and got admitted to a hospital before he had the chance to suit up for the USC Trojans this fall.

While it's good to see Bronny in good spirits, palpable concern from his father and the rest of the basketball world still lingers.

Such worry over the summer over the young superstar's condition made Paul's gesture even more heartwarming to see and we hope he continues to get better soon.
