Lakers LeBron James and JJ Redick Announce Their Official Podcast

LeBron James has finally announced his first podcast, and he will be joined by former NBA player and analyst, JJ Redick.

The Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James will now be adding a new podcast to his illustrious resume. James has been on plenty of podcasts before, and helped launch The Shop—but he is now striking out on his own.

James will be joined by former NBA player and analyst, JJ Redick, in what they are describing as a podcast that contains "pure conversations about basketball."

James and Redick have plenty of experience in the game of basketball to provide some deep insight into the game they love.

Redick played from 2006 to 2021 before he retired and moved into a broadcasting role with ESPN. He has his own podcast called The Old Man and the Three, which has grown increasingly popular.

James has yet to launch his own podcast, but it is finally happening alongside Redick. The plan is to release weekly episodes that are around 45 minutes in length. The episodes will be available on YouTube and major podcasting platforms.

James could find podcasting as his second job once he decides to also step away from the game. While we don't think that will happen for a few more years, we are definitely going to listen to James give his takes on everything basketball on this new podcast.
