Lakers News: Classic Kobe Bryant Sneaker Line Returning Next Month

Everybody has been waiting!

Kobe Bryant did more for the game of basketball than can even be put into words but one thing that always stood out to fans whenever he took the floor for the Los Angeles Lakers were his sneakers. He made sure that whether he was working with Adidas the first stint of his career all the way through his playing days with Nike that his kicks brought out the best performance in not just him but anybody else that purchased them.

Unfortunately, it's been a while since the late, great Bryant's entire shoe line and catalog was up and running due to disputes between his family and the company of Nike after his passing in 2020. Both sides had been reported to have met on multiple occasions to try and rekindle the relationship so the basketball world could purchase products in Bryant's honor again and after a lengthy process, his shoe line will be returning next month.

"Thanks to an agreement between Vanessa Bryant and Nike, Kobe apparel is coming back. As a result, fans around the world can be sure to check out the products as and when they release. However, what bears special significance is that these aren’t the only shoes Nike could potentially release. On Mamba Day, August 24th, 2023, the Kobe Protro line returns. The first release will be the iconic Kobe 8s coming in as Kobe 8 Protro ‘Triple White’. Out of the 11 Kobe signature shoes, just a few have seen a Protro version. So, the scope of possibilities remains endless. And, with the release of the Kobe 6 Proto Reverse Grinch PE, it seems like reruns in different colorways remain an option for Nike."

This is a huge win for the sports world as Bryant's shoes still held a tight grip on basketball players of all ages even when only his older products were on the market. Expect to see plenty of eager buyers once these new sneakers start getting released!
