Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic will not play in Friday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Crypto.com Arena. Doncic was a full participant in practice on Thursday, however, Dallas has already ruled him out for Friday's huge game in Los Angeles.

Teams usually get fully healthy when they play the Lakers, and many fans speculated that Doncic would be suiting up for this game. However, the Mavericks are clearly proceeding with caution with their superstar, and you can't blame them.

Doncic last played for the Mavericks on March 8 against the New Orleans Pelicans. He's missed the team's last three games, and on Friday, that number will move up to four.

The Lakers, on the other hand, are likely to just be without LeBron James and Mo Bamba. Anthony Davis is listed as probable to play, however, he's been probable ever since he returned from his right foot injury, and has only missed games on a back-to-back.

The Lakers currently sit one game back of the Mavericks in the Western Conference standings, so this game will be as important as any this season.

As for the other Mavericks' star, Kyrie Irving has been listed as questionable with his foot injury.

Tip off for Friday's game is 7:30 p.m. PST.
