In what's been a bit of a rarity for your 43-39 Los Angeles Lakers all freakin' season, the team has a completely clean bill of health heading into its first (and hopefully only) play-in game of 2023, at home against the 42-40 Minnesota Timberwolves.

That includes reserve point guard Dennis Schröder, who missed LA's last two games of the regular season, and, more importantly, the team's three top scorers, all starters. All-Star small forward LeBron James (right foot stress injury), center Anthony Davis (right foot soreness), and point guard D'Angelo Russell (left foot soreness) are all going to suit up for Los Angeles.

The Timberwolves, meanwhile, will be missing two starters and one huge bench big man piece. Starting small forward Jaden McDaniels, a very possible All-Defensive Teamer, is out with a fractured hand, starting center Rudy Gobert has been suspended by his own team for his role in a fight against Minnesota forward Kyle Anderson, and reserve power forward/center Naz Reid is done for the season with a left scaphoid fracture

Point being, there's a reason the Lakers are 8.5-point favorites to win tonight.
