Lakers News: Watch LeBron James Practice His French As He Kicks Off Le Mans

LeFrench is here to stay!

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James made history this weekend despite him not being on a basketball court. It seems like we shouldn’t be surprised due to all his business and philanthropy ventures. But he was one of the legendary starts of the historic 24 Hours of Le Mans. He waved the French flag and even spoke the language to kick things off. He commanded the drivers with the saying, “Pilotes, demarrez vos moteurs,” to start the race.

You can hear his French below and it’s just another impressive accolade that James has.

It didn’t take long for the jokes to start as James himself labeled his saying as “LeFrench” and the internet ran with it.

This has to be one of the cooler things that James has done over the course of his life. However, trying to narrow that down with all that he has accomplished and done must be tough.

But still, it was impressive to say the least and now James has an entire offseason to recover from an injury and do more fun activities. His possibly retirement is still on the table although many around the league don’t believe It will happen.

We aren’t sure when we will see James in the public eye over the next few months but it was special to see him partake in a part of history.
