Magic Coach Jamahl Mosley 'Excited and Happy' For Paolo Banchero's All-Star Break

Paolo Banchero had a very eventful All-Star Weekend, and Orlando Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley couldn't be prouder.

Teams are now getting back into regular season play today following the All-Star Break, and Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero will be looking to use this past weekend as fuel.

Banchero was named an All-Star for the first time this season, which will hopefully be the first of many. Magic coach Jamahl Mosley is proud of the things that the young forward did over the weekend, and is glad he had that experience.

"I'm proud, excited and happy for Paolo," Mosley said. "When your peers give you that credit and they talk about how great you can become that means a ton. So, just happy for him for that experience and to be able to do that."

Banchero is averaging 23 points, seven rebounds, and five assists per game so far this season. His improvement really shows when you look at his shooting percentages, as his numbers have gone up significantly since his rookie year.

If the 21-year-old can continue to improve at the rate that he currently is, then he might be joining the starters of the All-Star Game sooner rather than later.

Banchero and the rest of the Magic will be in action tonight against Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
