Mavs WATCH: Luka Doncic Teases Kyrie Irving in Viral Video

Luka Doncic got Kyrie Irving with the oldest trick in the book. It appears that the two Dallas Mavericks superstars are getting along as well as anyone could’ve hoped for.

DALLAS - Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving's off-court chemistry appears to be blooming. The two Dallas Mavericks traveled to Salt Lake City for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game, and their growing friendship has become an internet sensation.

As both Mavs rested on the bench for Team Lebron, Doncic got Irving with the oldest trick in the book.

“It was great, man. We had a lot of laughs. He’s a great guy," Doncic said of Irving. "We talk a lot, so it was great to have him here.”

Both Mavs were selected by captain LeBron James on the court before tipoff. Earlier in the weekend, this video of Irving teasing Doncic also went viral.

Both players stayed healthy over the All-Star weekend, so the Mavs’ overall goal was achieved there. Irving broke the Mavs' All-Star scoring and assisting records by putting up 32 points and 15 assists in 29 minutes while shooting 14-21 from the field. Doncic finished with four points in 19 minutes while shooting 2-5 from the field.

Now, Doncic is off to Cabo for a quick vacation. Irving, knowing how eager his co-star teammate was to go on vacation, asked if Doncic had already made it to Cabo during his All-Star postgame press availability.

“Is Luka in Cabo right now? I think he was doing his best to get his energy up for the game. You can’t blame him," Irving said.

Irving explained: “He’s played a lot of minutes and he rightfully deserves a vacation. Hopefully, he’s on a plane already. I don’t know if he’s doing media right now. ... Get a nice beer for him on the plane in Cabo and we’ll see him on Wednesday.”

The Mavs return to game action on Wednesday as massive 14-point favorites when they take on the San Antonio Spurs at the American Airlines, beginning a six-game homestand.
