Anthony Davis was an absolute monster in Game 1 against the Denver Nuggets, and the Lakers will need more of that in Game 2. Fortunately for LA, while Anthony Davis is listed on the injury report, fans should expect him to play.

The Los Angeles Lakers have officially listed Anthony Davis as probable in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals with a right foot stress injury. It's the same injury that Davis has been listed with during the majority of the NBA Playoffs, and he hasn't missed a single game - expect him to play.

In Game 1 against the Denver Nuggets, Davis had arguably his best playoff game ever. He put up 40 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks, and 3 steals, on 61/100/100 shooting. It was truly a spectacular display by Davis, which only shows just how tremendous Nikola Jokic was that the Nuggets ended up still winning.

Davis is not necessarily an X-Factor against the Denver Nuggets in this series, but he's still the most important player on the floor for the Lakers. He'll have an extremely important job on both sides of the floor, and LA likely won't survive any bad Anthony Davis games during this series as they could in other ones.

The Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers face off in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals at 5:30 PT tonight.
