Denver Nuggets Go Viral With Incredible Surprise

The Denver Nuggets surprised a 100 year old superfan.

Sometimes, it's the little moments that matter. Something that the Denver Nuggets understand better than anybody.

The Denver7 news station featured an incredible story about the Denver Nuggets surprising a 100-year-old superfan named Bob Webb.

Bob initially went viral with the Nuggets fans with a previous interview with Denver7, where he said the Nuggets winning a championship was pretty close to the greatest moment of his 100-year-life, with only his daughter's birth being above it. He did not miss a single game last season.

The Nuggets sent out their famous mascot Rocky to surprise Webb on his birthday and brought him dozens of gifts. Included in those gifts was an autographed Nuggets jersey from Christian Braun, custom-made cookies, and custom birthday Nuggets signage. The team event brought a replica trophy for Bob to take photos with on his birthday. It was a moment that made him immediately light up with joy, telling the team he'll see them on his 200th birthday.

Sometimes, all it takes is a nice gesture to make someone's year. There weren't any Nuggets players that attended Bob's birthday party, but it didn't matter to him. It was the joy of knowing that his favorite team cares enough to attend his birthday, knows who he is, and gave him dozens of gifts. Bob's 100th birthday will be one that he remembers forever.
